We would love to hear back from you to tell us how happy you are with your German Spitz puppies and also what you thought about the Mediaeval Age Kennels.
Our aim is to breed for quality, temperament and soundness.
We hope that you enjoy being a owner of a Mediaeval Age German Spitz.

Mediaevalage Magic Mist (Monty)
Sire Aust CH. Nueboree Magic Dream (Merlin)
Dam Callaven Honeys Pride (Honey)
I got to know Melissa in unfortunate circumstances, after our beautiful dog Oscar passed away. I contacted Melissa to ask questions about the German Spitz breed. Oscar was sold to me as a Pomeranian, but he clearly had a lot of qualities – size, temperament etc., of the German Spitz breed. He was possibly a cross-breed.
Melissa was a great source of comfort during a difficult time, and was always available to answer questions or just chat.
When a puppy became available, I knew I wanted to bring him home. Monty’s father Merlin & mother Honey, were both so similar to Oscar, that it was as close to having an Oscar puppy as we could get.
Monty has settled into the household extremely quickly and is a typically excited, happy, mischievous little puppy who loves pushing the boundaries and finding out what he can and can’t do. Monty loves playing with toys, us and other dogs, and loves as much attention as he can get.
While we don’t currently plan to take Monty to the show ring, we have no doubt he would be very good there. He has a big personality and a wonderful temperament.
I have no hesitation in recommending the German Spitz breed to potential dog owners who are happy to invest time into training the pup and giving it lots of love and attention. They do need some play and exercise every day, but in return you will get a lot of quality time, fun, happiness and love.
I would also happily recommend Mediaeval Age kennels as a breeder of German Spitz pups, as Melissa and Jason have put a lot of effort into creating a kennel that produces pups with a wonderful temperament. And I doubt you will find a cuter, softer, sweeter or more fun puppy than a German Spitz!
Thank you very much Melissa and Jason for allowing us to bring Monty into our home, and for all the help and advice along the way.
Love from Ryan & Angela Helsham

Hi Mel & Jay,
Well guys, what can we say?
You have sold us a wonderful example of the German Spitz Breed.
Mediaevalage Lil Myrddin aka Taylor, is just a dream little man. He has attitude, stature, poise and for one so young he does show maturity in the ring.
Sunday 19th May 2007 was his very first show and he was awarded Baby Puppy of Breed and Baby Puppy in Group by judge Mr K Hammond (NSW).
His first steps into the ring he seemed to say, "ok, this is what they have all been on about, so lets go", and off he walked to the table.
On the table he still has a little to learn, but it will happen. He let the judge go over him very well. Then off the table, onto the ground and he was ready to go.
With the command "walking" he moved forward, head high, chest out as if he had done it all thousand times before. The circle was no bother either.
We truly believe that Taylor is going to do well in the ring, not just for myself and Robert, but for your kennel name. He is a true dream to own. He is loved greatly and in return shows us lot so of love back.
Again, thank you for trusting Taylor to us.
Love and cheers,
Yvonne & Robert
Mediaevalage Black Magic ( Magic )
Sire: Aust CH Nueboree Magic Dream
Dam: Nueboree Moon Shadow
Owner: Graham & Carol Sultman Alligator Creek, Mackay, QLD.
This is Magic and he is a German Spitz ( Mittel ) bred in Jason and Melissa Field's Kennel Mediaevalage. He is a very loyal and lovable house dog who follows me around all day with out getting under foot.
He loves everyone and gets on very well with Zoom ( a Border Collie ) and the cat ( Mieow ) and likes nothing better than a run on the beach trying very hard to keep up with Zoom. |

Mediaevalage Celtic Lass (Flea)
Sire: Aust CH Nueboree Magic Dream
Dam: Nueboree Moon Shadow
Owner: Jody Matthews Grasstree beach, Mackay QLD
Dear Reader ,
The Matthews family purchased a German Spitz (Mittel) pup from Melissa and Jason Field in January 2007, by the name Mediaevalage Celtic Lass ,. We call her Flea!
Flea is such a big part of our family , she goes to the shop in ute every Saturday with my husband Gavin to get our local paper. Plus anywhere else she can go with him. Flea likes to have breakfast with us on the patio nearly every day followed by a brush and cuddle.
We have six year old twins Jayden and Nadia , who love to play with her , and it seams that Flea loves to tease and play with them as she stays just out of reach with her toys and just when the kids think that they have her she jumps up and takes of making them chase her .
As a family we have never had this breed of dog before, and we have found them to be very independent , hardy and love to be around you , they love to be included in ALL family activites . They can be vocal , but what dog is not at some time . Flea is very much a collector ,her toys , old bones , shoes, anything that takes her fancy and she loves to pile them at our front door ON MY WELCOME MAT much to my disscrase.
We have two other dogs a Keeshound and a Cattle X Bullterrier , and both dogs love Flea .
The Keeshound is very old and Flea keeps him busy by pinching his bones and just when he thinks it is safe to have asleep It's NOT hear comes Flea . The other dog is much younger and they get on great with alittle disapline from the cattle dog just to keep Flea in line.
We love her very much and would definatly recomend this breed to a family.
Melissa and Jason Field have been thoughtful in breeding Flea as she has a very good temperment ,comformation and has been very infroment before and after purchasing this breed.
We Feel that because Melissa ans Jason have a very young family that the pups have been exposed to childeren from a young age and the pups and the kids learn to respect each other. We wish Melissa and Jason all the best and thank them very much for our dog Flea , Jody and Gavin Matthews XXXX |
